CoachFest 2026

Amanda Pembroke grew up in Western North Carolina and is a proud product of public schools. She attended UNCC (‘11) as a NC Teaching Fellow with the dream of one day creating the same sense of community, service, and learning that shaped her own upbringing. While she started her career as a high school English teacher, Amanda now serves as an instructional coach at China Grove Middle (Rowan-Salisbury Schools) where she not only coaches teachers at her own school but collaborates with university partners and district leadership to support teacher needs across schools. With nearly 15 years of experience in education, Amanda models resilience and a coaching approach that begins with people, grows through praxis, and is rooted in her belief that everyone is both worthy and capable.
