About me
Dr. Courtney Tate is an instructional leader, coach, and founder of AlignEd Coaching and Consulting. She partners with schools and districts to strengthen coaching practice, build aligned systems, and support leaders in driving meaningful instructional change. As a former Curriculum Coordinator, she coached instructional coaches across 29 schools. As a Senior Professional Learning Specialist, she led high-impact professional learning and coaching for complex district initiatives nationwide.
Grounded in her doctoral research, her work centers the lived experiences of Black women instructional coaches, bringing clarity, courage, and care to leadership and coaching. She equips educators with practical, relationship centered strategies that foster trust, accountability, and sustainable growth.
