With 36 years in education, Dusti Johnson-Brinker currently serves as Director of School and Teacher Quality in Portsmouth. Their experience includes roles as teacher, assistant principal, principal, English specialist, professional development and school improvement specialist, and mentor to new teachers and principals. Notable achievements include leading the largest Title I elementary school to accreditation within three years and being named Division-wide Elementary Teacher of the Year. Dusti is a CSIS Nationally Certified School Improvement Specialist, NEA Nationally Certified Principal Mentor, and VEA Teaching & Learning Trainer, reflecting a strong commitment to instructional leadership and educator development.
