Dr. Holly Pore is the Executive Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) for Guilford County Schools (GCS). Dr. Pore is an accomplished educator with 21 years of service. Creating the first ever youth apprenticeship program, Student Opportunities for Apprenticeship Readiness (SOAR), sponsored by Guilford County Schools, GCS is in better position to provide a talent pipeline for high skill, high wage, or in-demand careers. For the second consecutive year, GCS ranks Top 5 on the NC Department of Public Instruction student credential attainment list. As a strong instructional leader, awarded as the 2025 NC CTE Administrator of the Year, Dr. Pore labors to transform learning and life outcomes for all students, making the way we teach so important to produce high performance.
