About me
Tabitha Carter is in her fifth year as a Literacy Coach for Rockingham County Public Schools. Prior to that she was a reading specialist at both the elementary and secondary level as well as a 1st grade teacher. She is currently working toward her Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction - Reading at the University of Virginia. She currently serves as the VSLA - Shenandoah Valley Chapter President and the Region 5 representative for the Virginia Educational Coaches Network. Additionally, Tabitha is an adjunct professor at both Averett University and Bridgewater College. For fun she loves to read, write, play tennis, and watch Orioles baseball! She and her son, Nash, enjoy going to Orioles games and are currently working on visiting all 30 stadiums to watch the O's play!
